ABOUT VINTAGE LUXE UP

Vintage Silk. Hand-Crafted. Singular.

Sourced from established luxury houses. Transformed by hand by our atelier and partner workshops. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.

OUR ORIGIN

Why I Started Vintage Luxe Up.

I spent twenty years inside luxury retail. I saw what vintage silk means at the highest levels — and I saw what was missing every time someone tried to bring upcycled silk to the consumer market.

The taste gap. No one was sourcing rigorously, naming the original house and decade, or treating the artisans who made each piece as part of the story. Buyers either overpaid blindly, settled for disappointment, or walked away.

VLU exists because that gap shouldn't exist. Every piece we sell is sourced personally, recorded across its full life, and signed by the artisan who made it yours.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Five Things We Refuse to Compromise.

  1. 01

    Curation

Every sourced scarf is examined and selected by hand for quality and artistry. We carefully examine every silk before a piece enters our atelier. Pieces that don't meet our standard are returned. Curation is the work behind every piece you see — and the work behind every one you don't.

  2. 02

    Artisan Craftsmanship

Every piece is made by hand by a named artisan in family owned workroom. There is no machine-line replication. The artisan is part of the story — not a hidden step.

  3. 03

    Scarcity

Most pieces are one-of-a-kind by definition. When a vintage scarf is transformed into a single object, that object will not be restocked. We don't manufacture urgency — scarcity is the structure of the work itself.

  4. 04

    Sustainability

Every transformation extends the life of an existing luxury textile. No new silk is produced. No fast-fashion supply chain is engaged. The most sustainable luxury is the luxury that already exists.

  5. 05

    Giving Back

A portion of every sale supports World Central Kitchen and a rotating set of other charities in need. Specifics live on our giving page — not as marketing, but as accountability.

Now that you know who we are.
