Today's best brands are built on purpose, integrity and sustainability by conserving the Earth's scarce natural resources. Vintage Luxe Up is doing our party by sourcing vintage luxury silks to upcycle limited-edition protective masks essential during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Luxury industry veteran, David Altman, founded Vintage Luxe Up in the spring of 2020 from his dining room table. Inspired by a dream to bring together his passion for design, sustainability and doing well by doing good, he put his talents to work.
Known for his critical eye and once-in-a-generation taste, David built a career scouring the world's marketplaces to bring coveted and one-of-a-kind finds home to his customers at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works and now Vintage Luxe Up.
This journey began on eBay with a single Hermes scarf donated by a friend. There we found a found a passionate group of advocates and realized we were on to something. Forced off the eBay platform due to outdated rules about upcycled products, he was determined to continue his mission on VintageLuxeUp.com.
Each mask is truly one-of-a-kind; sourced from independently authenticated vintage silk scarves that are upcycled to reduce consumption of Earth's scarce natural resources. Crafted in Chicago by local tradespeople, the scarves are given a new life for a new generation of sustainably conscious customers.
We look forward to building a community and movement of like-minded folks determined to lead change.
Vintage Luxe Up is not affiliated with the individual brands.
All scarves are obtained through secondary markets.
