Where do you source your silk scarves?  We work with independent reputable dealers known for the quality and authenticity of their goods and verified individuals.

Where are your products made? All products are upcycled in Lexington, KY by local master craftsmen from authentic luxury brand scarves.

Are you affiliated with the brands?  Exclusively ours, all items are sourced and altered from independently authenticated secondary market sources to preserve their beauty while reducing waste and its impact on the planet.

Why do you use vintage silks?  By sourcing vintage silk scarves, we can deliver exclusive, limited edition products that are sustainable as well as one-of-a-kind.  By bypassing a significant portion of the manufacturing process, we conserve the Earth's scarce natural resources including water and electricity as well as reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.  

Why is every piece unique?  All items in a specific style are sourced from a single vintage scarf. Each item varies slightly due to portion of the silk employed.  Let us choose for you.  

How much of my purchase is donated to charity?  10% of all sales of full-priced items are donated to verified charities.  Every transaction.  Every day.*  

Why do your prices end in 8's?  The finest silk in the world is produced in Asia where the number 8 has long been regarded as the luckiest number.  Imbued with a sound that resonates with the meaning, “to make a fortune,” the number 8 signifies prosperity and success, insight, intuition and the exploration of the undiscovered.  A person born under the sign of the number 8 has been bestowed, according to Asian lore, with a special gift of being a natural born businessperson capable of achieving their goals in a carefully curated manner.

What type of stain protection is used? Selected products are durably stain protected and will last for many years as long as cleaning instructions are followed.  The GREEN, environmentally friendly stain protection is a water-based, FCF-free, product that uses no chemical solvents to speed drying.What kind of stain protection is used?  

How do I care for and clean my purchase?  We recommend treating it as you would any other fine luxury silk garment. Professional dry cleaning.
