Story Behind The Scarf

The Hermès Animapolis scarf, designed by Jan Bajtlik, tells a whimsical story of a fantastical city where animals run wild and take over famous landmarks. A dragon attacks the Palace of Culture in Warsaw, a leopard eyes the Kremlin, and a panda and crocodile relax by St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, all while onlookers at the Hermès building in Paris watch the spectacle. The scarf is filled with intricate details and playful elements, including multiple appearances. of the designer's dog, Kluska.

The scarf features a diverse cast of animals, including a dragon, a leopard, a panda, a crocodile, and more, all engaging in various activities within the city. These animals interact with real-world landmarks like the Warsaw Palace of Culture, the Kremlin, and St. Basil's Cathedral, creating a sense of playful chaos.
