The Bolduc au Carré Hermès scarf tells a story of the brand's heritage through a playful design. The scarf's design, created by Caty Latham, features a grid-like pattern made of interwoven bolduc ribbons, an Hermès signature ribbon with a dotted border evoking a saddle stitch. This intricate weave cleverly hides and reveals a horse-drawn carriage and groom, a classic Hermès motif, within the squares, creating a "hide-and-seek" effect. Caty Latham's design transforms this simple ribbon into a complex, mosaic-like pattern. The ribbon strips are interwoven to create a visual puzzle, where the carriage and groom are hidden within the squares.

Vintage Hermès Bolduc au Carre 65% cashmere 35% silk scarf fully lined interior featuring a fully lined Sunbrella® interior ensuring durability and easy care, resisting spills and stains while maintaining a refined finish.

To clean Sunbrella interior fabric, first brush off any loose dirt. Then, apply a solution of mild soap and water (or a Sunbrella cleaner) with a soft-bristle brush or cloth allowing it to soak in for a few minutes. For tougher stains, a mixture of 1 cup bleach and ¼ cup mild soap per gallon of water can be used. After scrubbing, rinse the fabric thoroughly with water to remove all soap residue and allow it to air dry.
