Reimagined from the world’s finest collection of vintage Hermès scarves, our stuffed animal is the perfect gift or decorative accent.

Throughout history, the lion has stood as a powerful symbol of strength, courage, and authority. Often called the “king of beasts,” the lion’s commanding presence and regal bearing have made it an emblem of royalty and leadership.

More than physical power, however, the lion represents fearless resolve—the willingness to stand firm in the face of danger. A lion does not retreat easily; it confronts threats head-on, embodying bravery under pressure and unwavering confidence. This courageous quality has made the lion a symbol for warriors, rulers, and heroes who are expected to protect others even at great personal risk. In literature and popular culture, the lion represents not only nobility and sacrifice but also moral courage—the strength to choose what is right despite fear or suffering.

Story Behind The Scarf

Designed by Joachim Metz and released in 1994, the Hermès "Carpe Diem" scarf is a 90cm silk masterpiece celebrating the roman calendar and the philosophy of "seizing the day". It features a radiant, crowned sun at the center, surrounded by intricate celestial motifs, stars, planets, and Roman numerals.

The charm itself is beautiful, but the smell is HORRIBLE! It smells like a moldy musky basement. I thought the smell would go away, but it didn’t. I had set the charm on our dining room table and my husband asked what that smell was and he was in the family room. Thought about tossing it but I spent $140, I couldn’t return because I needed to get that box out of my house fast. I have it in a shoebox with charcoal oder eater pads. I hope this works.

This was pretty, but it smells absolutely horrible and can’t use it. Smells moldy. I have a large bedroom and it made my bedroom smell so bad. Moved it to my bathroom, it’s large as well, made that smell. I eant to throw it away but it was $140. If anyone knows how to get a moldy basement smell out of something, please let me know.
