One-of-a-kind works of art reimagined from the world’s finest collection of vintage Hermès scarves.  Each piece is unique, handcrafted in our Lexington KY atelier – never to be repeated.

Scarf is hand-sewn onto the mat to celebrate the unique character of the hand-rolled edges.

Story Behind The Scarf

The Danse du Printemps scarf was designed by French artist Pierre Marie, a notable collaborator with Hermès known for his detailed and often fantastical designs. His work often involves intricate illustrations and vibrant palettes, and this scarf is a recent design, appearing in the Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

The inspiration is clearly the arrival of spring, with the design  featuring elements such as Choral Dance with figures engaged in a celebratory dance, in a ring or structured pattern as is common in many of Marie's designs. The imagery  incorporates elements associated with spring, such as flowers, foliage, and potentially small, whimsical animals or characters, all rendered in Pierre Marie's signature detailed style.

Vintage Hermès 100% silk Danse du Printemps scarf hand-sewn onto a linen mat and custom framed in a 2" champagne gilt wood frame to celebrate the unique character of the hand-rolled edges. Hanging hardware included.
