The Hermes Faubourg Rainbow scarf, designed by Dimitri Rybaltchenko, takes inspiration from a psychedelic dream from the 1960s and 1970s. The design evokes the feeling of a vibrant, psychedelic dream inspired by the hippie philosophy and "flower power" era.
Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where the Hermes flagship store is located, is depicted as being "invaded" by flowers, clouds, and rainbows with bold, multicolored outlines, polka dots, and streaks of color.The imagery suggests a sense of peace, love, and non-violence dominating this "walking dream," with Hermès being "peacefully bombarded" by rainbows and fantastical vegetation.
