Sized perfectly for anywhere in your home. Great as a single piece or in a collection, it’ll be almost impossible to pick just one.
The Hermès Paperoles scarf, designed by Claudia Stuhlhofer-Mayr, draws its inspiration from a rare, secular 19th-century paperole art piece: a ceremonial carriage crafted from paper and cardboard. This particular paperole, a berline de gala, was discovered in a Florentine antiques shop in the 1990s and acquired by Hermès, becoming part of their collection. The scarf design beautifully recreates the intricate details of this unique object, even down to the turning wheels, pivoting axle, and the silk lining of the carriage.
