Story Behind The Scarf

The Hermès Petits Chevaux scarf, designed by Jacques Eudel, features a charming equestrian theme with horses in various attire and leather details. It's a vintage piece, known for its rare colorways and is crafted from 100% silk. The scarf is a classic example of Hermès's dedication to quality and their long-standing connection to equestrian themes. The scarf showcases a playful equestrian theme with horses dressed in different outfits and adorned with leather straps and accessories. to create a visual puzzle, where the carriage and groom are hidden within the squares.

Vintage Hermes Petits Chevaux silk scarf paired with houndstooth back and fully lined interior featuring a fully lined Sunbrella® interior ensuring durability and easy care, resisting spills and stains while maintaining a refined finish.

Care & Cleaning

To clean Sunbrella interior fabric, first brush off any loose dirt. Then, apply a solution of mild soap and water (or a Sunbrella cleaner) with a soft-bristle brush or cloth allowing it to soak in for a few minutes. For tougher stains, a mixture of 1 cup bleach and ¼ cup mild soap per gallon of water can be used. After scrubbing, rinse the fabric thoroughly with water to remove all soap residue and allow it to air dry.

The charm itself is beautiful, but the smell is HORRIBLE! It smells like a moldy musky basement. I thought the smell would go away, but it didn’t. I had set the charm on our dining room table and my husband asked what that smell was and he was in the family room. Thought about tossing it but I spent $140, I couldn’t return because I needed to get that box out of my house fast. I have it in a shoebox with charcoal oder eater pads. I hope this works.

This was pretty, but it smells absolutely horrible and can’t use it. Smells moldy. I have a large bedroom and it made my bedroom smell so bad. Moved it to my bathroom, it’s large as well, made that smell. I eant to throw it away but it was $140. If anyone knows how to get a moldy basement smell out of something, please let me know.
