Story Behind The Scarf

The Hermès Aux Pays des Épices scarf, designed by Annie Faivre in 2001, celebrates the world's spices with a vibrant, pinwheel design. The scarf features a colorful array of spices, herbs, berries, and seeds, along with their names and countries of origin, alluding to the adventurous spirit of those who sought them out. The design is a tribute to the explorers and traders who braved hardship to bring these exotic flavors to our tables.
