Description

Vintage finds exclusively ours.  Our vintage Hermes scarf animal menagerie is sustainably sourced, locally made with a history and story to be told.

Reimagined from the world’s finest collection of vintage Hermes scarves, our stuffed animal is the perfect gift or decorative accent.

The kitten is the embodiment of playful elegance—innocent yet full of promise, its curiosity and energy hinting at the greatness to come. A symbol of gentle beginnings and tender charm, it moves with a lightness that captivates, reminding us that true refinement can be joyful as well as poised.

To evoke the kitten is to celebrate the art of discovery, the delight of small wonders, and the playful spirit that underlies enduring sophistication.

One-of-a-kind from assorted Hermes silk scarves, each piece is unique handmade in a family owned workshop in South Carolina.

This is not a children’s toy and is intended for adult collectors.

Stories Behind The Scarves

The Hermès Bolduc ribbon scarf's story is rooted in the brand's packaging tradition. The Bolduc, a ribbon used to tie up Hermès purchases, is the inspiration for the scarf's design. The scarf features a detailed, intricate design based on the ribbon, often incorporating the signature Hermès carriage and groom.

The Hermès Ex Libris à Carrreaux scarf, designed by Hugo Grygkar, tells the story of the brand's history and love for books and equestrian design. It features Émile-Maurice Hermès' personal ex-libris (bookplate) at its center, surrounded by horse-drawn carriages inspired by the house's archives. This design, created in 1946, encapsulates the essence of Hermès, blending its founder's passion for books and the brand's equestrian heritage.

The Hermès Kosmima scarf, designed by Julia Abadie, draws inspiration from ancient Greek jewelry and the concept of "Kosmos," which signifies universe, order, harmony, and ornament. The design features intricate gold jewelry motifs, reminiscent of Hellenistic pieces, arranged around what is believed to be Artemis, the Greek goddess of flora and fauna. The scarf's name, "Kosmima," itself translates to "jewel" or "anything that beautifies".

FROM THE FOUNDER

I won't list a piece I wouldn't put in my own home. Twenty years of luxury retail taught me what authentic looks like — and what doesn't.
