Stories Behind The Scarves

The story behind the Hermès La Promenade de Longchamps scarf is that it's a beloved vintage equestrian design by Philippe Ledoux, first issued in 1965 and depicting the vibrant scene of horse-drawn carriages and postilions riding around the famous Longchamps racecourse. The scarf celebrates 19th-century Parisian life with intricate details of carriages, riders, and the elegant setting of the Longchamps grounds. Due to its enduring popularity, the scarf has been reissued multiple times, making it a coveted and classic Hermès accessory

FROM THE FOUNDER

I won't list a piece I wouldn't put in my own home. Twenty years of luxury retail taught me what authentic looks like — and what doesn't.
